MIL-C-60898/4(MU)
4.5.2.1
Conditions of operation.
Unless otherwise specified,
all subsequent tests are to be performed with the conditions of
operation specified in 3.4.1,
Referring to Figure I, connect
R 1 , R 2 , C1, C2 and C3, using the ASSORTED COMPONENTS, item 8
of 4 4.1.1.
Connect the POWER SUPPLIES, items 1, 2, and 3 of
4.4.1.1, to supply +22.0 3 0.1 vdc, +4.50
0.01 vdc and +18 9
0.1 vdc, respectively, with their negative terminals tied to
GROUND as shown in Figure 1.
When required during subsequent
test, use the positive output of the POWER SUPPLY, item 4 of
4.4.1.1, as logic "O" and the positive output of the POWER
SUPPLY, item 5 of 4.4.1.1, as logic "l".
Connect the nega-
tive terminals of these two supplies to GROUND of Figure I.
4.5.2.2
Logic outputs.
In the following tests, use the
DIGITAL VOLTMETER item 6 of 4.4.1.1, to verify that the
logic outputs are'within the tolerances specified in 3.4.2.
4.5.2. 2.1 Output pin 9. Referring to Table I, apply logic
inputs as shown for pins 15, 16 and 17.
Verify that the out-
put voltage on pin 9-conforms to the requirements of Table I
and 3.4.2.1 for each combination of inputs on pins 15, 16 and 17.
4.5.2.2.2 Output pin 23.
Connect the DIGITAL VOLTMETER,
item 3 of 4.4.1.1 to output pin 23.
Verify an Output of
18.4
0.5 vdc with a logic "1" applied to-pin 19. Verify
an output of +0.01 vdc to +1.2 vdc with a logic "O" applied
to pin 19.
4.5.2. 2.3 Output pin 6.
Using the DIGITAL VOLTMETER, item
3 of 4.4.1.1, verify y an output between pin 6 (+) and pin
Connect pin 13 to pin 28 (GROUND)

that pin 7 goes from logic "O" to logic "1" within 500

milliseconds after pin 15 is changed from a logic "1" to a
logic "0", with all other input pins at their specified logic
level.
