3.1.2.2 Standards of manufacture.
The requirements of
3.1.2.2.1 Assembly and soldering.
MIL-STD-2000 shall apply, as a minimum.

purchase order (see 6.3) the contractor shall furnish sample
units for first article inspection and approval (see 4.4).

3.3.1.1 Cable test set switch/indicators.
3.3.1.1.1 Powerswitch/indicatior.
With input power applied,
the power indicator lamp shall illuminate when the power switch is
in the 'ON' position.
Continuity switch/indicator. With input power
3.3.1.1.2
applied and the power switch on, the continuity indicator lamp
shall be illuminated when the continuity switch is depressed.
3.3.1.1.3 Cable test switches. With input power applied,
and the power switch on, each cable test switch shall be able to
detect open or short circuits within the computer subsystem, the
laser subsystem and the Tank Thermal Sight Subsystem Cables.
Shortcircuit detection. With input power
3.3. 1.1.3.1
applied, the power switch on, and each panel switch (S1 through
S83) in turn set to the test position, the continuity indicator
lamp shall not light (An illuminated continuity indicator lamp
indicates a short between conductors).
