2.3 Order of precedence.
In the event of a conflict
between the text of this document and the references cited
herein, the text of this document takes precedence. Nothing in
this document, however, supersedes applicable laws and
regulations unless a specific exemption has been obtained.
REQUIREMENTS

3.1 Materials. Materials shall be in accordance with
applicable drawings and specifications.
3.2 Components and assemblies. The components and
assemblies shall comply with all requirements specified on
Drawing 11736249, all associated drawings, and with all require-
ments specified in applicable specifications and standards.
Where applicable, the test set shall meet the requirements of
MIL-F-13926 as follows:
Dimensions and tolerances.
a.
Inorganic protective surface finishings.
b.
Part identification and marking.
c.
Workmanship.
d.
3.3 Environmental service conditions.
3.3.1 Vibration. The test set shall not suffer damage and
shall meet the requirements of 3.4 and 3.5 after exposure to the
equivalent of 6000 miles of track-laying vehicle operational
vibration as defined by MIL-STD-810 narrowband random-on-random
data for equipment installed on the deck of the M113 armored
personnel carrier.
3.3.2 Shock. The test set shall not suffer damage and
shall meet the requirements of 3.4 and 3.5 after exposure to a
total of 18 impulse shocks consisting of three shock impulses of
15 g's
10%, duration 11 milliseconds
10%, half-sine wave
applied in each direction of 3 mutually perpendicular axes.
3.3.3 Altitude operating. The test set shall meet the
requirements of 3.4 and 3.5 during and after exposure to
barometric pressure encountered at 10,000 feet above sea level
(20.6 inches of Hg).
